I am a city of Phila police Dept Detective. Iride a bike throughout the neighborhood often. Today (6/30/12) while riding onMedford Rd. the bus operator on bus #5337 attempted to force me from the road. He is a middle aged white male very rotund in the midsection, with receding brown hair. I stopped at the intersection at Vinton & Medford and told him to slow down. The speed limit was 25mph. I was traveling at 25 mph. And he was right on my back. There is a stop sign at this intersection ( clearly marked). He cruised through the stop sign and stopped in the middle of the intersection, then opened the door and yelled out something inaudible while looking directly at me. I again told him to slow down that the sPeed limit is 25! He then pointed in the direction of the sign and sheepishly pulled away. Some of these drivers need to be trained on road courtesy and rules of the roadway, thank you for reading this and hopefully addressing this situation with all bus drivers!
    Formally,
    Detective R. Fetters
